3D SHOE DESIGN PROJECT
SHOE DESIGN
A 3D footwear concept developed in Fusion 360, exploring a detachable sole system that allows track athletes to move comfortably on and off the track without changing shoes.
The design pairs a performance spike plate with a removable cushioned sole, creating a two-mode system for walking between events and racing when it matters.

What Problem Does This Solve?
Track spikes are built for performance, but only on the track. Athletes often spend hours at meets moving between warm-up areas, team tents, restrooms, stands, and event locations, forcing them to repeatedly remove their spikes or carry an additional pair of shoes.
SPLIT eliminates that transition.
The DETACHABLE SOLE creates a walkable layer over the spikes, allowing athletes to stay in the same footwear throughout the meet and remove the sole only when they are ready to compete.
